Cozy, Spooky, and Just a Little Bit Witchy: Introducing My Halloween Collection
There is something about Halloween that has always felt more cozy than creepy.
Maybe it’s the warm mugs of coffee, the crunch of leaves under your boots, black cats perched on windowsills, candlelight flickering through old houses, or the first cool evenings that make you want to stay wrapped in a blanket just a little longer.
When I started designing this collection, I wasn’t chasing horror. I wanted to capture the feeling of wandering through an enchanted woodland on an October evening, where ghosts are friendly, bats are adorable, mushrooms pop up beside winding trails, and every witch probably has a cat who thinks it’s in charge.
That’s exactly where this collection landed.
Inspired by Autumn Magic
Every illustration began as a simple hand-drawn motif before becoming part of a larger collection.

Instead of feeling dark or scary, I wanted everything to feel whimsical, nostalgic, and just a little magical.
The color palette stays soft and earthy with warm golds, muted olives, charcoal blacks, creamy whites, dusty lavender, and autumn oranges that feel right at home from September through Halloween.
A Collection That Mixes and Matches
One of my favorite parts of designing surface pattern collections is creating pieces that work together. This collection includes several coordinating seamless patterns that can be mixed across projects.
Some of my favorites include:

Why I Love Seasonal Collections
One thing I’ve started doing this year is creating collections around moments worth celebrating.
Rather than making random products throughout the year, I’m building complete collections with coordinating artwork, seamless patterns, individual illustrations, and products that all tell the same story.
Halloween felt like the perfect place to begin.
It gives me room to create playful artwork, tell little visual stories, and offer everything from fabric to mugs without feeling disconnected. My hope is that these collections become something you look forward to each season.
