I’m Petra, an artist who follows ideas until they turn into something real.
I don’t stay in one lane. I work across pyrography, pattern design, writing, and whatever else shows up, because that’s how I think and create. One idea leads to another, and I build from there.
My connection to nature runs through everything I make. Not in a romantic, curated way, but in the everyday act of paying attention. The quiet moments that most people overlook.
This is part of my work, where some of it becomes finished pieces, some of it stays as sketches, notes, or experiments. But all of it matters.
This is the space where I follow it, build it, and share it.
There wasn’t one clean starting point. No big, cinematic moment where everything suddenly made sense. It was built over time, through choices, hard seasons, and a lot of figuring things out as I went.
I didn’t come from ease. I came from instability, from learning early how to adapt, how to keep going, how to build something for myself even when I didn’t have a clear map.
Creativity became part of that. Not as a hobby, but as a way through. First as survival, then as expression, and eventually as something I could shape into a life. Years later, that life looks like this, mornings on the trail, time in the studio, ideas constantly moving between the two. Wood, fire, sketchbooks, patterns, words. None of it separate. All of it connected.
