The www.petramonaco.com website (the “Site”) is comprised of various web pages operated by Petra Monaco. www.petramonaco.com is offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein (the “Terms”). Each item you see in my shop has been created by hand and I take pride in creating ghd works of art that you can use, wear, display, and love. From jewelry to kitchenware to fine art, you can find an array of beautifully decorated art here. I aim to create a little something for everyone.
My creations make amazing gifts for your loved ones!
I’m always finding new ways to experiment and bring creations I do that are inspired by nature, music, and my love for coffee, and because of this, I am often adding new items to my site, and much of what I make is one of a kind.

Returns and exchange details
I do not offer refunds or exchanges, generally. If a package is damaged in shipping, that is out of my control, but please let me know if there is anything wrong with your item upon receiving it. I will do what I can on a case-by-case basis to make your experience a truly positive one!
In lieu of traditional returns or exchanges, I do offer store credit, free items, and/or discounts if you are not pleased with the product that you receive. Please contact me directly to discuss whatever issue you may have.
Please understand that you are receiving a handmade item that is unique, and that made-to-order item may appear ever so slightly different than the photos shown due to the fact that each one is drawn and burned by hand. Items that are labeled “Ready to Ship” will be the exact item pictured, and items labeled “Made to Order” will be a replica of what is pictured.
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact me and let me know within 24 hours of purchasing it. If your item has already been shipped, I will be unable to process a cancellation. If your item has not yet shipped and it is within 24 hours, I will happily refund you in full. If your item has not shipped and it is more than 24 hours, I can offer you a store credit in the amount that you paid to be used toward a future purchase. This does not expire until it is used.
There are NO returns or exchanges given to custom orders, period. Custom order sales are final.
Thank you for understanding and for respecting that small makers cannot feasibly offer the incredible return policies of large corporations like Amazon and Walmart. That’s just one drawback amongst a sea of benefits of ordering from a handmade maker!
Payment for orders is required in full upfront. That includes all orders, including custom work.
I do not offer payment plans.
If you wish to cancel an order, please let me know within 24 hours of placing your order. Beyond the 24-hour cancellation window, I cannot offer you a refund. I would then be able to offer a store credit voucher in the same amount you paid.

My shop offers FREE SHIPPING on orders over $75 to US buyers!
Shipping times vary depending on if your order includes Ready to Ship items or Made to Order items. Ready-to-Ship items will ship within 1 week of purchase, and sometimes as soon as the same day, depending on how close to my weekly post office run you are ordering.
I live 45 minutes from the post office, so I tend to schedule one trip per week. If you ever need an item in a rush, please message me about that before ordering so I can let you know what options there are.
Made-to-order items are created in the order that they are purchased, and the time it takes to create and send your item depends on how many orders are ahead of yours in the queue. If you’re ever wondering about a realistic timetable, I am happy to give you an estimate based on what circumstances are currently affecting wait times.
During covid shutdowns, it is possible that ship times will take longer, as well as during busy holiday rushes. Please account for that when you order.

Individual country import restrictions are found at pe.usps.com/text/imm/ab_toc.htm The buyer also needs to be aware that delays happen when your purchase is clearing customs. You will be provided a tracking code/customs number when your order is sent.
Yes, however, customers are responsible for any and all fees imposed including import taxes, duties, and other fees levied per the customs regulations of the buyer’s country. International orders will have full value declared on customs forms. Please check with your Customs office and/or Postal Service if you are concerned about possible tariffs.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to contact customs if any issues arise. Original shipping charges are not refunded for buyers who refuse items due to not wanting to pay the customs charges applied by their country. This also applies, if, for any reason, customs officials refuse to forward your order, and say a refund will occur – minus a 25% restocking fee – only after the order has returned to us completely. If the issue is rectified and the order is to be resent we will waive the restocking fee but shipping costs will need to be paid again.
