I had the idea to create a series of moon paintings and this is how the pink sunset emerged on an 5 x 7″ rectangle canvas. I spend about 2 hours in total from working the background to the finished piece. And even though the painting is protected with a matte finish, I wouldn’t hang the pink sunset painting into direct sunlight as the sun will bleach the artwork over time – and I would like for you to be reminded to stay calm for years to come.

I started painting because really I just felt called to try something new and different. I started selling my artwork because I wanted to create a little bit of cash flow on my own by selling my handmade creations as I became a stay at home as my son underwent three liver transplants.
