Cowls aren’t just for under the shirt anymore and this triangular ribbed cowl pattern is so quick, easy, and fun to make!

Material: Worsted Weight Yarn

Crochet hook: H

Ch 20, hdc in second ch from hook and hdc across.

Row 2: Ch 1, hdc in lower stitch to create ribbing effect, hdc across, 2 hdc in last stitch. For the knit ribbed effect, make the hdc in the loop below the stitch you would normally do the hdc in it pushes the two loops to the front to make the ribbing.

Row 3: Ch 1, turn, 2 hdc in first stitch, hdc across
Row 4: Ch 1, turn, hdc across, 2 hdc in last stitch
Row 5: Ch 1, turn, 2 hdc in first stitch, hdc across
Repeat Row 4 and 5 until piece measures about 9.5 inches – approximately 26 rows.
Row 27: hdc to last two stitches, dec stitch
Row 28: dec stitch, hdc across
Repeat row 27 and 28 until you have 19 stitches

Join sides together either with slip stitch or sew it together.
