Lennon: to help me stop reading at bedtime and go to sleep Me (trying to keep a straight face): oh so you were reading when you were supposed to sleep? Lennon: Yes. Me: I love that you want to read, but what is bedtime for? Lennon is mimicking a reading motion Me: Umm no bedtime is for what, Lennon? Lennon mimics the sleeping motionMe: so now go back to bed and try sleeping instead of reading. Lennon returns to his bedroom Have you ever heard of a child telling on himself? Oh, he makes me smile!
Relaxing and silly Saturday .. His spirit is amazing … Zest for life visible in every moment Lennon: may I have scissors, my dear? Me: who are you talking to? Lennon: You mom. This is was gentleman do! Me: Are you a gentleman? Lennon: Yes. And I will be married one day. But not now, I’m not old enough. But one day I will be.
Lennon: Is tomorrow the weekend? Me: Yes. Lennon: Oh, thank you. Well, (short pause) I mean if I could thank someone for it, I would. I love that kid 🙂
