I’ve been working on this, well ever since the idea came to me and so I spent about a month creating the pages and start putting it together.

And it’s a monster!

What exactly is 365 Days of Becoming?

It’s a journey into self. Think about it like as if you are born every single day. Something new to explore and discover about who you are!

Growth always happens from the inside out and it requires courage to be you.

And this journal is so much more because it is also a coloring book. And I wrote about doodling and journaling to give you an insight of how I got started and hopefully conveyed why I find this important!

So how do you use this journal/coloring book?

The pages are filled with quotes, mantra’s and affirmations so you can really feel into the words.

Use them as prompts if you are not sure on what to write.

Color them in any time you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed and just need to calm yourself.

What will this journal help you achieve or what will it do for you?

  • It will help you to be more present in each moment. All too often we are scattered all over the place and forget to feel and be.
  • It will help you to unlock your own creativity and tap into the parts that perhaps you have been hiding.
  • It will help you solve your own problems. When you venture into sitting down every day and uncover what is holding you back, you are opening the door to your solutions.
  • It will help you become more confident as you are diving deep into your soul and go on to discover who you are.

Be, Do Have Affirmations Coloring Book What would you like to be, do and have?

It has taken me months to create the images, edit them and then finally compile them into a book.

After my first coloring book, I was so excited that this idea came to me not too soon after, but as any creative project, I need to be in the flow of creating – and sometimes it’s a long drawn out process.

But it is here now!

Because creating the life that we want goes deeper than the external world and all the material things in our lives.

The change we seek must start within and I created this coloring book with that in mind, to help you be, do and have more from an emotional and introspective level.

Some blank space has been left intentional on some of the pages, so you that you can add your own doodles and artwork and really bring in what it is you want to be, do and have.

Some few words about affirmations. In my own practice, they have helped me change my thought process but they guided me to feel confident as I worked towards creating the life I wanted.

Affirmations aren’t for everyone and I can only speak for myself and how they have impacted my own life.

My only hope is that you give them a chance – especially if you already threw everything else out there and nothing worked.

You aren’t hurting anything by throwing some positivity into your life.

Why do we wait for retirement to do after the dreams we have always had?

Why not today? Why not now?

And everything you are saying now in your head is an excuse.

Need money?

Make some!

Don’t know how?

Get creative!

I have done this myself for the longest time. I told myself that I can’t or couldn’t because I didn’t have the money to create the life I wanted.

What I really needed to do is get clear what I wanted my life to look like and what my dream like means to me.

My dream is to have my businesses (yes, I have 3 because I believe in diversifying and as a multi-passionate person, boredom strikes easily). But by having those businesses, I am also being able to share my message: Dream, Believe, Take Action because you can have what you want.

My dream is to be the best parent I can be and that kind of parent, in my mind, is available to the kids. To be able to take them to doctor’s appointments without guilt, to spend time with them playing poker on a Friday night for fun.

My dream is to have the freedom to work with clients on the days I choose while I may work on my other business on different days. To have the freedom to dress how I want, to color my hair, to have piercing and tattoos.

My dream is to define my life by simply being myself.

This can be challenging when we are taught to follow the norms and rules of graduating high school, getting a college education, dress professionally, go to work every day until retirement and hope to have vacation time in-between.

But somewhere deep down you want to write a book, go on vacation, maybe even start a business.

What is stopping you is not knowing how to do it because there is plenty of information and support available to figure that out.

What IS stopping you is what you are telling yourself about your dream because someone once told you that you can’t and you believed it.

Someone once told you that this kind of thing (book, business, vacation) only happens to other people and you believed it.

Someone perhaps even told you that taking a risk is crazy because it’s so much safer and even normal to follow the rules of society and you believed them BUT something deep down is bubbling up.

Deep down you have hopes and wishes that you want to make happen and be true. And here is where the hard work comes in: Mindset work is everything and if you don’t believe in yourself or your dream, no one else will either.

You are the example of possibility, the image of courage and bravery.

Don’t wait another minute to wait until retirement.

Don’t wait for another second that the right moment will come.

The perfect time is now – and it’s perhaps the only time I would use perfectly.

We must start before we are ready because we will learn everything we need to know along the way.

For today, take a moment and write down all the reasons for why you can’t-do something.

Then challenge those thoughts by rewriting them with all the reasons of why you can.

Affirm to yourself, your mind and your inner being that you have it within you to create the life you want now!

I am so excited about this. I use affirmations every day in my life. They are always including in my morning mindset work and then in my evening review of everything that has gone well on this day.

Affirmations help not only change you to feel the truth but remove negative thinking. They reaffirm your values about yourself and want you to want from life.

Why Affirmations can help transform your life

affirmationsFor some affirmations are silly gestures of things not true but we create the reality that we think! And for others, it’s a powerful statement to help you change your pattern of thinking.

I use affirmations regularly in my life. I will write them in a journal, I create art journal pages with them, I will post them all over my office/studio because that’s where I spent the most time.

For me, affirmations are the initial steps I take to help me transform my negative thinking about myself, my business, my family or anything else that has me feeling frustrated and I don’t feel confident about.

Affirmations are a simple tool to transform your mindset if you are willing to dedicate the work to it, pay attention to your thinking process and actively engage in reframing your thoughts.

If you keep telling yourself that you can’t do something or that you are not enough, you are attracting more of that into your life.

If on the other hand, you tell yourself that you are successful and confident then you will take inspired actions to move towards that goal or dream that has been hanging out on the horizon.

Think of an affirmation as the seed of a tree, the more you nurture it the bigger, stronger and confident it becomes.  While without the positive nurture, it will simply not sustain the storms and other challenges it is exposed to.

Creating your own affirmations is a simple process of the following:

I am ________________________________________________________________

I will ________________________________________________________________

I can ________________________________________________________________

Fill the blank with a positive statement. 

The key element is that it is in the present moment!

I am successful.

I will achieve my dreams.

I can take this action (whatever action that is for you).

Now what?

Repeat the affirmation in the mornings for 5-10 minutes, throughout the day and/or write it in your journal. For me writing really affirms my positive statement.

Make this a daily practice in the morning and perhaps at bedtime.

The change won’t happen overnight but giving it some time, watch your world unfold with positivity and attracting your dreams because you are allowing the opportunity for possibilities.
