Why on earth would you hire a coach?

Have you thought about hiring a coach?

Or contemplated on why having a Life Coach can be great?

A coach is not like a therapist or a mentor, although they may have worked in the field previously or offer to mentor. But they are the voice that helps you manage your own critical message, help you get clear on what you want and keep you accountable for your actions.

Sometimes, life as you know it gets in the way and you can’t see how your dreams and goals can come into reality. Coaches have been where you are right now and now the work that it takes to change the parts that keep your frustrated and stuck.

They do offer to be a sounding board, so you can release the thoughts and emotions that are holding you back, but what they don’t do is heal your trauma. When it comes to mental health, I will always advocate towards seeking a counselor, therapist or psychologist to help you through it because the skill set they offer is quite different.

A therapist helps you be an archeologist in the past while coaches help you build your future.

Coaches help you communicate clearly and help you empower yourself. They can help you

  • Take Action
  • Set boundaries
  • Gain Clarity and Focus
  • Stop Procrastination
  • Improve Relationships
  • Move through transitions
  • Mindset growth
  • Law of attraction
  • Sales and Business

I know you get the picture. There are really so many ways a coach can help you but the challenge may be finding what coaching you need.

Think about what is frustrating you right now, write it down and then create a list of coaches that work with that specific frustration. This can be from negative mindset to visibility, a transition to a new job or business and so on.

I also firmly believe that we have it within us to create a new reality, the reality that leaves as feeling good and amazing every single day, and who doesn’t want to feel good?

So why would you hire a coach?

  • To get unstuck
  • To stop procrastination
  • To gain confidence
  • To feel empowered
  • To overcome fear

But what are you going to do to move forward and change your life to have the reality you envision in your dreams?

If you are interested to see how I can help you, I invite you to schedule a 20-minute session and let’s see if we are a good match.

So true! I have been a coach for 14 years. Started when coaching was a brand new thing. My clients have come to me for a lot of different reasons or things going on in their lives, but what they are most grateful for is the confidence and sense of peace that comes with their new skills. It’s great to see another coach blogger out there who feels like I do.

Nice! And thank you. I find there is some misconception around coaching for some people and we sometimes have to spill it out. And yes the confidence that comes with this… so good.
