Do you pay attention to that inner voice that tells you to just be who you already are?
Does the inner voice also tell you what action to take but you make excuses and end up playing it small?
Do you wonder what can happen when you not only listen to your inner rebel but also act on what she says?
During the 14-Days you will tune into your own transformation and know that you are okay in all that was and all that is. Becase when you listen to your inner voice, you can see that you are a Unicorn amongst horses.
Sometimes it can be challenging to know what our purpose is but it will be easy enough when you make space through coloring meditation. A picture of who you need to become in the process will emerge.
During this challenge, you will ask yourself if you are really committed and how you can seek refuge to honor yourself and your own needs. You know that love – love for yourself – can heal the pains of the past and pave the way to the future. But coloring helps you maintain present in the moment.
You will tap into your bravery and get clear on who you are – although I already know you’re a masterpiece.
Tune into your inner Rebel and embrace what she wants you to know and what it will take for you to leap.
Every day for 14 days you will receive an email with a new coloring page and a few thoughts to tune into the intention for that day!
I’ve gone and done it again and totally restructured my life and therefore my businesses. And that’s just it, life and business are never straightforward or linear, it is whatever you make of it though.
The rules of business say that you need to niche down but what if being a multi-passionate introverted empath is exactly your niche?
What if you, just the way you are, is totally part of your niche and your tribe?
What if building a product and a service based business is your thing?
And here’s the thing, I didn’t want to just be a coach. I know some amazing coaches and have been referred to being one as well but once again it felt like I needed to squish myself into this box that I would never fit into. I want to show and tell, to teach, to motivate you into action and ok a small part even inspires you – without sacrificing what I stood for, belief in and mostly myself.
I want to show and tell, to teach, to motivate you into action and ok a small part even inspires you – without sacrificing what I stood for, belief in and mostly myself.
But first I needed to figure out what the heck that all meant for my own life and my own business. It needed to forge my own path and that meant giving myself permission to dream and it got me thinking that you may be facing a similar situation right now. So, ask yourself the question:
What if you couldn’t fail, what would you do every day in your life?
For me, the answer was: all the things.
Well, all the things at the same time, that wasn’t going to happen. But developing time management skills, focusing on what did matter to me and tuning out the noise that was going to be the key for me.
Until I gave myself permission to forge my own path and stopped listening to all the people, I was floundering around wondering what the heck I was going to do every single day. And let me tell you, that time of my life sucked donkey balls.
I was bored out of my freaking mind.
And now you get the reap the benefits of my struggles and frustrations.
I am sharing with you exactly how I started changing my life and embodied all of my passions. I designed a life where I get to create and serve without sacrificing myself in the process.
It’s time that you create the life you want and forge your own path.
There’s a lot of noise already and a lot of content filled with fluff, and that’s just not how I roll.
I respect your time and want to deliver the information you need in a way that makes sense – and well is straight to the point.
This is what lights me up, seeing people making decisions to follow their dreams and passions.
And if you’re ready to build a business on the side or full-time, be it product or service based:
Snow’s about ready to fall in the Northern hemisphere or so we hope, and what will you be doing when it does?
Sitting by a crackling fire…
A hot cup of tea or cocoa nearby…
Soft yarn and smooth needles in your lap…
Sounds like you’re ready for colder weather 🙂 and I’ve already enjoyed evenings of knitting this season.
If you’ve been on the run all summer and fall, it’s about time for your schedule to slow down just a bit… which means you’ll be reaching for your next handmade project.
I can’t think of a better way to welcome winter than to tell you about a collection of digital resources you’re going to be starry-eyed over.
It’s called the Handmade with Love Super Bundle.
Before I tell you what’s in it, can we talk about that name? It’s almost like this was created with you in mind. 🙂
Everything you make, every stitch you count, knit, sew, crochet, quilt… you do them all with love, don’t you?
I feel exactly the same way. It’s one of my biggest passions to create. Just the other day a friend of mine commented that she can’t imagine me NOT creating. It’s such a big part of my life.
That’s why I’m so excited to tell you all this bundle, so you can soak up more of the joy and relaxation that comes with handcrafting.
Okay, let’s talk about what’s inside :-).

I can’t wait to see what you’ll be creating!
Just over a week ago, I found out a young man I knew, committed suicide. It was just a month before that, that I went to see my favorite local band and which he was a part of. We talked about life, music and all things business during the break and I was so glad he was figuring out his world. This young man went to school with my eldest kiddo and it just hit a little bit closer to home.
A few times during the week, people have asked about seeing any signs of it. And truth be told, I don’t know. I didn’t see him every day and I am would venture to guess that people never thought he’d be the one.
But it made me push the pause button.
I paused my business. I didn’t blog and only send out a quick email to my list. I posted here and there on social media.
Instead, I focused on my new office space (there’ll be a post about it soon) and getting it all set up. I focused on my artwork, and man I have created a lot of things that never made it into the shop.
This entire past week, made me reflect on my own life and where I wanted to take my business. And as I was rummaging through crochet blankets, painting walls and setting up my new storage age for yarn, I realized how much I missed creating.
Now, I love helping, teaching and supporting people on their path because there’s nothing more exciting for me than seeing other people go after their passions. I love it when people go against the status quo and just do their thing.
And it reminded me that I too just need to keep doing my thing.
Death has a funny way of hitting pause and move you into a reflective state. And yet in the same week, we celebrated the 9-year anniversary of my youngest kiddo’s liver transplant.
Life is so incredibly fragile and precious.
Which is one of the MAIN reasons I do what I do because I know that one day you are here and the next you could be gone!
I know that what you do with your life matters to your heart and your soul.
I know that you are here to follow your passions, your ideas, and your intuition to create a life that feels absolutely incredibly amazing.
I also know there will always be a dark side and that sadness and even death are present every day.
But this is how you start living in the moment.
You get to decide what to do with your life.
You get to decide to follow your soul.
You get to decide what will make your life feel like as if it is the fireworks of the 4th of July.
And in hitting the pause button, I gained the clarity I needed for my life and business.
I pulled back on some projects (for now) and just focus on the things that light me up.
I get to do the things that excite me and that follow my intuition.
Do more of the things that feel good and less of the things that drag you down.
Don’t want to be on social media all day? Then don’t!
Don’t want to record podcasts and videos or even blog? Then don’t!
Want to create from that place deep within and that feels good, yes do that!
I am not saying don’t post on social media, write blog posts or record podcasts and videos. But don’t think you have to do them all.
And as we are starting into the holiday season and nearing the end of this year, it’s a good time to hit the pause button.
Reflect on what your year has been like, what areas of your life felt good and which ones didn’t. You can create the life you want, but sometimes taking a time out will help you realign your soul’s passion.
I don’t want you to wait for another second to decide what you will do with your life.
I don’t want you to wonder about the all the what if’s, you know the ones, the ones that are about failure and being wrong.
I want you to give yourself some pause, and decide what you will do with your life, starting today!
A few weeks ago I met with my accountability partner like we do just about every week and I had a new idea I was working on.
And with one simple question she asked to have some clarity, she moved me into the space of reflection. She didn’t know that in the moment but sometimes the water’s can get muddy when we take too many steps all at once.
I like being busy and I love taking action on ideas when they excite me but truth be told, I don’t always think them through to really gain the clarity of the ideas purpose. It’s a creatives problem to have.
It was time for me to slow down a little and really look at my life and my business and decide what do I really want to create, how do I want to show up every day and what would like me up like a Christmas tree if I got to do them every single day.
Through stepping back, I have rekindled my love with my art. I spend some time wood-burning during the day and then crochet in the evening. My love for my art never went away, I just didn’t do anything with it.
So in this week, I finished up some ornaments that will be headed to the gallery in the next few days.
I think that having ideas is great and I also believe that they come to you because they are meant for you to leap into action with but sometimes the timing isn’t quite right, or it’s a little too much and you keep treading in muddy waters without much traction.
Here’s what I realized:
It’s okay to step back a little and slow down. This isn’t a race of who can do how much in whatever time frame.
Each idea is essentially built on another idea and sometimes slowing down helps you gain a much clearer picture of how it will play out in the big scheme of things.
Does this mean to let go of your ideas?
No of course not. But sometimes it helps to let the ideas marinade so you can be crystal clear not just on the how or what but have a depth of understanding about the why.
I will eventually revisit the idea I had and see if it’s still a good fit or if it’s better to just let it go.
Even though I believe ideas are meant for you, and I think you also need to take action on them, sometimes the action is not doing anything at all.
I didn’t start my business so I would be working 16 hours a day. I started my business so I could help and serve people, as well as spend time doing other things I love to do.
And I saw that all of the inspired ideas I had were actually leading me away from what I really wanted.
If you are also an idea generator and tend to take immediate action, take some pause.
Think about if this idea is really helping you create the life you want, and if it doesn’t, just let it marinate for awhile.
If it is truly meant to be a reality, it will not let you go – ever!
And you know what that means, it’s time to act!
Share with me where in the comments you are giving yourself permission to scale back a little!
Not too long ago, I joined a pen pal community. Something that I’ve been missing is connecting with people and even in the world of Social Media, it’s easy to get lost in the sea of people.
In my excitement I wondered, what kind of stationary I would use and made a face when I realized that I might have to go to the store and purchase some. It seemed inappropriate to just use regular old notebook paper.
And then it dawned on me that I probably have the perfect pages on my computer that would do exactly what I needed and it allowed me to show off my creativity. That’s exactly what happened.
That’s exactly what happened.
The cool thing is that you can color them in many different ways, making them look different from each other.
So let me ask you when was the last time you wrote a letter by hand?
There’s something so much more intimate when writing a letter than it is on Facebook or any other social media platform.
I found myself easily filling both sides of the paper and ready to write more, but didn’t want to spill my life story in one shot. That kind of defeats the purpose of a pen pal and regular writing.
You can get access to the stationary by joining Create your Colorful Life, a coloring page community. When you join, you will have immediate access to over 150 coloring pages that you can print off and color.
You can currently find the following coloring page themes in the community.
